About Great Sun Buffet & Bar
After choking on the prices at almost every Nicollet St. restaurant, we finally walked a block south from the convention center to 14h street and the buffet at the Great Sun. How easily we are prejudiced by appearances! The neighborhood doesn't look posh, but we liked the food better than anywhere else we dined during a week living downtown.
The staff was genuinely pleasant and efficient both nights we dined there. Total price for two? $20, plus tax. That's right - for TWO. The longer our convention lasted, the fuller the Great Sun became.
